Profile
Dr. Pamela D. Rogers has a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Doctorate in Human Sexuality and is board certified by the by the American College of Sexologists (ACS). She is also a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
She holds certifications in clinical sexology, sex education, STI/HIV prevention, and sexological bodywork. In addition to successfully helping numerous individuals and couples, Dr. Rogers teaches physicians how to talk to their patients about sexual concerns, works with older adults on keeping sexual vitality alive, conducts fun and informative erotic possibility workshops at bridal showers and other women's social clubs, and is uniquely trained to teach erotic massage.
She has been on local television to discuss female sexuality, was recently quoted in Esquire Magazine about the use of sexual fantasy as an enhancement technique, and has designed and taught sex education to at-risk Hispanic youth.
Dr. Rogers caters to all genders and orientations, and is kink and poly friendly. Prior to joining the helping profession, Dr. Rogers spent ten years coaching executives on how to be more effective leaders through an action planning process which incorporated cognitive reframing, behavioral training, and future oriented goal-setting. Among her clients were Ford Motor Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Gap Inc. She now applies her successful action planning approach in her sexology practice.
Her mission is to create healthy sexual adults by providing a sex-positive and non-judgmental environment in which people can explore their true sexual potential.
